EICR & Electrical Safety Certificates in London
Electrical Installation Condition Reports for homeowners, landlords, letting agents and commercial premises. Professional inspections and clear digital reports from Electric Prime Ltd.
Electrical inspections explained clearly
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) records the condition of an electrical installation following inspection and testing. Customers often call this an electrical safety certificate or landlord electrical certificate, but the formal document is an inspection report.
We provide inspections for domestic and commercial properties, explain any observations and quote separately for remedial work where required. An EICR does not guarantee a satisfactory outcome.

Domestic EICR prices
Guide prices for a standard domestic inspection, subject to the number of circuits, consumer units, access and property conditions. We confirm the price and scope before booking.
Inspection and digital EICR report included for the agreed scope. Repairs or remedial works are not included and are quoted separately. Commercial and portfolio inspections are quoted individually. No VAT is added to prices shown.

EICR FAQs
Is an EICR the same as an electrical safety certificate?
“Electrical safety certificate” is a common customer term. An EICR is formally an Electrical Installation Condition Report, showing inspection and testing findings.
How often do landlords need an EICR?
For most private rented homes in England, electrical installations must be inspected and tested at least every five years, or sooner if the previous report specifies a shorter interval. Other duties and exceptions may apply.
What happens if the report identifies a problem?
We explain the observations and provide a separate quotation for any remedial work. Inspection fees do not include repairs unless specifically agreed.
Can you inspect commercial premises?
Yes. Contact our team with the property type, location and installation details for a tailored quotation.
